Capitol Keys ("we", "us", "our") operates a networking event platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Information We Collect
When you register for or attend an event, we may collect:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Company, job title, and professional specialty
- LinkedIn profile URL
- Profile photo (if uploaded)
- Event activity: challenge completions, connections made, QR scans
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the event platform and provide your digital card
- To facilitate networking connections between attendees
- To track challenge progress and issue rewards
- To send event-related communications (sign-in links, announcements)
- To generate aggregate event analytics (not individually identifying)
Sharing With Other Attendees
Your profile information is shared with other event attendees only when you scan QR codes to connect. You control which contact details are visible through the privacy toggles on your profile page (email, phone, LinkedIn).
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
Data Retention
We retain your account and event data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information on your profile
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Control what contact info is shared via privacy settings
SMS / Text Messaging
By providing your phone number and opting in during event registration, you consent to receive event-related text messages from Capitol Keys, operated by Nalo Seed LLC. These messages may include event reminders, venue details, check-in links, and post-event follow-ups.
- Message frequency varies (typically 3-6 messages per event)
- Message and data rates may apply
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message
- Reply HELP for assistance or email grow@naloseed.com
- Your phone number is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of registration or attendance. You may register without providing a phone number.
